When the Lord gave me the word "Increase" for 2009, I knew it was not only for Grace Church corporately, but for our families. We continued to expect and believe for increase throughout the year and we received many testimonials of the Lord working through the lives of our Grace families. Corporately, we were seeking the Lord for wisdom when it came to Grace Church carrying a large debt burden. As Proverbs 22:7 instructs us, "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." With Godly counsel, we decided that selling "the building" was walking in wisdom and we followed after peace. After all, Grace Church is all about people, not buildings. Well, praise the Lord, we were able to sell the building to another church and in the process, we eliminated a $3.5 million mortgage! Not only is Grace Church completely debt free, but we were able to hold onto the adjacent 4 acres of land - PAID IN FULL. We thank the Lord for delivering the right buyer, at the right price, at the right time. As the Lord continues to direct us in 2010, we have secured The Lewisville Convention Center for the next year to allow us to minister effectively and grow in the Lord together. It is a wonderful facility and we engaged the top company in the country allowing us to "go portable" with a focus on ministry excellence. At Grace Church, we are committed to lead by example as we "Declare War on Debt" in 2010 as a church body. We are committed to not only teach the uncompromised Word of God, but LIVE IT OUT in 2010!
